Our story
Established in 1974
Gawish Import & Export Inc. is an Alexandrian family business proudly serving the Egyptian market for nearly four decades. Gawish traces its roots back to 1974, when Mahmoud Gawish founded the group in Alexandria, Egypt.
Over years, second and third generations took their responsibilities to grow up the organization achieving its goals keeping its culture and dynamic nature.
Activities Diversity and Growth
The company’s commercial activities focus on importing, distributing and selling raw materials and industrial chemicals for a wide range of applications in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and manufacturing industries. By diversifying our commercial activities to enhance growth, Gawish has extended its activities and services to include exporting commodity food products.
